Magda Rose Paz

Magda Rose

Magda was a student from preschool through eighth grade at Light Valley Waldorf School, Siskiyou School’s predecessor.  An appreciation for the education she received as a Waldorf student ripened during her college semester abroad in Nepal.  After graduating with a B.S. in Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, Magda attended Foundation Year at Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, and completed her Waldorf Teacher training at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, N.Y..  You may have seen her on campus helping with reading groups or teaching music and recorder.  She is delighted to be the First Grade assistant this year.  Magda and her husband Serg have two sons, Lupin and Escher, who fill their days with adventures and their living room with towers, wildlife safaris and musical parades. Other activities that bring Magda joy are biking, hiking, playing soccer, gardening, cooking, a good book and using her hands to make something beautiful.
